Facilities and Accommodation

Lochgoilhead offers dormitory and lodge accommodation for up to 150 people, including specially-adapted accommodation for those with additional needs. The centre is fully-catered, serving three meals a day in our dining hall. A classroom is also on hand for teaching, briefings or demonstrations. The centre can hire out a range of equipment to support expeditions, such as Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, for a small charge. This includes camping equipment, boots and waterproofs and bikes and trailers.

Leaders Rooms with En-Suite Bathrooms

Lodge 1 – Modified Lodge

We’ve also modified a sixteen bed lodge for special needs groups and their leaders. One room has an internal WC and shower facility with full wheelchair access. An electric hoist is available as well as various items of manual handling equipment for boat and other transfers. Users and potential users are best to confirm with us that we have any specialist equipment they may require for their group needs.

This 12 sleeper lodge has a leader room with en-suite, en-suite in each room and drying area and sitting lounge.

Dining Room

Lochgoilhead is fully catered and where better to refuel than our dining room. Take a seat and enjoy your three meals a day catching up with friends and making new ones over delicious and nutritious meals.

Classroom

We have three classrooms and a leaders’/teachers’ break-out lounge, all of which have wi-fi.
