Our Experiences

For Scouts and youth groups

We have over 100 years of helping young people achieve in the outdoors. Our instructors are passionate about helping young people grow, and many of our activities also count towards badges for Scouts and other youth groups. Come for a day trip, residential or as a venue for your upcoming events. 

For schools

We work with schools to deliver affordable residentials and day trips that meet Curriculum for Excellence outcomes and help young people develop key skills like leadership, communication, team work and resilience.

What is the cancellation policy?2026-03-04T14:56:34+00:00

We understand plans change. You are entitled to cancel the booking in total or for any of the party member(s) subject to providing the Scout Adventures centre with written notice and paying the following cancellation charges: The cancellation policy for bookings is as follows:

– 180 days or more prior to arrival: at least 20% deposit.

– 180 days or less: 50% of the total bill is due.

– 60 days or less: 100% of total bill is due for all other customers.

– 30 days or less: 100% of total bill is due for Scout Scotland Members.

We want to make sure you feel at ease when coming to our centres. We make sure our staff are professionally qualified, all our centres have the necessary accreditations and we hold a License issued by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service where required. Across our centres we have Mental Health First Aiders, First Aiders and have thorough safety policies.

Yes! We always welcome guests visiting our sites before booking. This way we can show you around the site, reassure you and your young people about where they will be eating and sleeping and get your young people excited about visiting. Just get in touch with our team and we can arrange a visit. 

How do I make a reservation for my group?2026-02-17T14:53:42+00:00

It's easy! Email us at Hello@scouts.scot and tell us as much information as possible about your stay. One of the team will then be in touch to finalise your booking and confirm your programme.
