Help create a more youth-shaped future for Scouting
Scouts Scotland is looking for two passionate and motivated Youth Team members to help shape and strengthen youth-led Scouting across the movement. You’ll be part of a small national team focused on making sure young people have meaningful opportunities to influence, lead and shape Scouting – while making it easier for adult volunteers to support them.
You’ll play an important role in delivering Scouts’ Place to Belong Strategy, helping create a movement that is truly youth-shaped.
Vacancies
There are two Youth Lead Team Member roles available, each with a different focus:
- Lead for Support – Scottish Youth Team – helping young people and volunteers access the guidance, training and resources they need to make youth-led Scouting happen.
- Lead for Engagement – Scottish Youth Team – looking at how youth-led Scouting fits into our wider programme, understanding what works well and finding new ways to make youth-led Scouting more accessible.
You don’t need previous Youth Lead experience to apply. We’re looking for people aged 18–24 who have ideas, enthusiasm and a passion for making Scouting better for young people.
