What is it? An Explorer event with a ghoulish twist!

You should arrive on Friday night though the programme doesn’t begin until Saturday morning. Friday night will therefore be a chance to set up camp then chill out getting to know some of the other participants.

Saturday will be packed with activities.

A gentle start on Sunday morning followed by more activities before packing up and heading for home by 2pm.

The camp is under canvas, bring your own tents.

The camp is fully catered starting with a light supper on Friday night and including lunch on Sunday.

What does it cost?

The cost of the event is £60 per person. This includes camp fees, food, activities but travel is not included. Leader’s fees are £15

Places will be allocated on a first come basis. There is a limit of a maximum of 15 Explorers from each Unit.

When is it?

October 30th – November 1st 2026 at Meggernie Outdoor Centre, Glen Lyon, Aberfeldy, PH15 2PT

Arrive Friday night 8.00 -10.00pm.

All participants should arrive in top half uniform.

Camp will end 2pm Sunday

What’s happening?

Friday: 8-10pm Arrive and set up camp followed by supper

Saturday daytime: Breakfast followed a full day of activities and challenges

Saturday evening: Dinner followed by Fancy Dress Halloween Activities

Sunday morning: Breakfast followed by the last activities and challenges
